Canned 02/26/20, this pours cloudy gold orange color with a foamy 2 finger thick off white head that had bubbles of all sizes in it, dissipating very slowly and leaving excellent foamy lacing rings throughout the class. This is exactly what I expected to see in a collab brew from SC and OH.
Smells like ripe grapefruit, pineapple, orange peel, mango, guava, tropical fruit, skunky weed, fresh cut grass, herbs, floral notes, light peppery spices and a dash of pine cones. Super hoppy with a lot of dry hop accents.
Flavor is mostly SC with a lot of the OH juicy characteristics showing up as well. There are a lot of different hop components going on at once, with earthy, floral parts that bring out tea leaf, dry floral hops, chalky yeast, rose pedals and wet cardboard, followed by citrus tastes like orange juice, lemon zest, tangerine, grapefruit, pineapple, guava, and orange peel. The ending is dry biscuit, peppery spices, tin or metallic notes, grass and dry floral hops. Quite complex, it hides the ABV masterfully and is easy to take down. Another fine collaboration from these two.
