Pours cloudy orange color with a 2+ finger thick foamy eggshell colored head that faded extremely slowly and left excellent foamy lacing coating the sides. It looked like the foam left after a quality milkshake.
Smells of grapefruit, pineapple, orange peel, tropical fruit, orange juice, some sweet malt and dank notes like guava or papaya. The malty aspects were minimal but this smelled nice with a lot of citrus aromas.
Tastes like it smells but it also brings tart red grapefruit which is pithy, tangerine, a hint of brown sugar, some heat that comes off a little like rum and dry biscuits or wheat. It’s got a bunch of trailing floral notes that really highlights the dry hopping. This is a little green so some age may mellow the ABV, but overall a very enjoyable brew.
