Another entry in our Soup Du Jour Single Hop Series. An IPA brewed exclusively with Enigma hops. The deliciousness is a riddle wrapped in a mystery.

Picked up a growler today and this had the same good looks as all the other Soup series beers, but the nose was very different. Not sure what Enigma should smell like but it was full of weed, lemon zest, herbs, fresh cut grass, floral hops, light peppery spices and it had similarities to yuzu and riwaka hops. A nice smelling IPA that had some biscuit mixed in with the skunk weed notes.
Tastes like it smells with a lot of herbal notes, lemon zest, grapefruit, yuzu, fresh cut flowers, orange peel, coriander, skunk weed, biscuit, wet cardboard, tea leaf, a dash of mint and hint of potpourri. Definitely the most unique hop flavor of the series and one that grew on me with each sip. An enjoyable offering that hides the ABV well.
