Pours cloudy orange color with a 2 finger thick off white colored head that faded slowly and decent rings of lacing. Smells like orange peel, grapefruit, caramel, tangerine, papaya, orange ring candy, biscuit, pithy citrus, pine and light spices. It’s well balanced and smells really good, but not great.
Tastes of orange peel, caramel, grapefruit, lime, lemon zest, tangerine, guava juice, mango, wet citrus hops, tea leaf, biscuit, toasted grains, coriander, dry yeast, peppery spices, floral hops, pine cone and metallic flavors like a penny. Definitely complex and pretty juicy, but not the hop bomb I expected from these 3 breweries. Balance and bitterness are spot on, and this hides the ABV perfectly.
