Mostly clear (just lightly hazed) dark straw color with a fat finger of off-white head. Decent retention and thin sheets of lacing.
Older school aroma with peach, pineapple, iced tea and maybe a hint of pine and pepper.
Very peppery tasting, with the fruity notes present, but taking a back seat. A dull, earthy, tea-like bitterness dominates the finish and aftertaste.
Medium bodied feel with a nice fizz throughout.
The bitterness develops a bit of a pilly, aspirin-like quality over time that comes on a touch strong to my preference. But overall, it’s fairly tasty, well-balanced and easy-drinking.

This had standard SC good looks and that fresh hoppy aroma, which lead to the citrus filled flavor of tangerine, grapefruit, orange peel, faint pineapple, biscuit, caramel, bready notes and mild spices. A tasty session brew named after a fantastic song.
