On tap at the brewery, it pours hazy yellow gold color with a foamy small off white colored head that faded on the slow side and left really nice lacing. It smells like fresh cut grass, pine cones, orange peel, lemons, dry biscuit, melon and peppery spices. Not the typical citrus nose in a SC brew.
An usual hop flavor as well out of Northport, it’s more spicy and piney than citrusy. It’s more like a hoppy lager than an IPA, chock full of lemon zest, orange peel, grapefruit, biscuit, hay, fresh cut grass, floral accents and tea leaf. Well balanced and easy to drink.
