Tastes of piney notes, biscuit and tea leaf up front, followed by orange peel, tangerine, grapefruit, coriander, lemon zest, faint white pepper, toasted grains, hints of caramel and some floral accents as it fades. Not citrus dominant but still quite hoppy and well balanced by the malt bill. The carbonation is light and the feel is on the thin side, the bitterness mild, however the malty balance helps hide the ABV nicely. Another enjoyable SC collaboration, with elements of Root+Branch coming through.

Served in a snifter glass from the can which I picked up at Sand City.

Appearance: Almost opaque gold color with medium bubbles to the body. A white head which initially rose one full fingers length off the body and dropped quickly after one sip.

Smell: Heavy piney aroma. Like grabbing a fist full of hop pellets and shoving it down your nose...floral and heavy.

Taste: In lust, bitter and heavy floral with thick yellow grapefruit skin. It's like a heavy pale malt infused with a light citrus juice.

Mouth: It's a touch dry. Sticky body. Soft soft carbonation with a ridiculously sticky almost like bitting into the hip itself finish.

Overall: Great grab. Quality brew, would definitely grab again if it's there when I visit the brewery again. Salud!
