Has the typical good looks you'd expect in a DIPA by Sand City and Equilibrium: cloudy bright orange color with a 2 finger thick foamy beige colored head that faded slowly and left excellent sticky lacing coating the glass. Smells very dank and pungent, like citrus fruit just peeled including tangerine, orange peel, grapefruit, musty grapes, and then floral notes, biscuit, faint caramel and tea leaf of some kind of mild peppery spices. Tastes like it smells but it's more one dimensional like the tangerine and grapefruit only show up, and allow some lemon and 7-Up to pop out once in a while. The flavor is well balanced with biscuit, some bready notes, caramel and then fresh cut flowers, coriander and tea leaf that trails of on the dry side. Zero alcohol bite and a nice level of bitterness make this quite easy to drink. Definitely session-able.

Served in a snifter glass from the can.

Appearance: Darker hazy gold with q white head initially rising a notch below one fingers length off the body.

Smell: Citrus skin aroma which dissipates quickly into the nose.

Taste: malt and wheat bread with a sweet corn flake feel to the brew. Citrus is a touch light but heavy grapefruit skin.

Mouth: Very sticky body consisting of a bitter oatmeal finish.

Overall: Very good pick up at the brewery. If I see it again next week definitely will grab it again. Smooth is what I crave yet still has that punch. Salud!
