Served in a snifter glass from the bottle, purchased a little over a year ago.
Appearance: deep dark black body with a dark tan head which initially Rose roughly half a finger slant off the frame.
Smell: beef whiskey notes coming off slightly sweet I feel a little bit like butterscotch hitting the nose.
Taste: very rich taste with them since the city of butterscotch coffee and light hands of almond. Coffee and Whiskey are super evident.
Mouth: soft combination are you rich coming off almost tangy at the end. Could be the age of the beer catching up to it.
Overall: great beer luckily I grabbed at least two bottles. Always in a glass enjoy.

This bottle has been aging for almost a year and it pours as black as ink with small brown head that hisses and fizzles as it went down quickly leaving minimal lacing. Smells of molasses, faint soy sauce, roasted malts, bourbon, light vanilla, dark chocolate, pistachio or a nutty essence, charred wood, caramel and brown sugar. The nose is sweet, but not over the top or cloyingly offensive. There is zero alcohol bite as this slides down smooth and easy, yet still packs a punch. I really enjoyed the flavor but I was hoping for more pistachio, bourbon and vanilla in the mix, but it lacked those special aspects but did bring lots of rich malt, dark chocolate, metallic notes and roasty notes.
