Stuck No. 3 (Chocolate Maple Stout)

Pours pitch black color with a 1 finger thick brown foamy head that make crackling sounds as it dissipated quickly and left very little lacing. It did however leave a lot of sediment on the glass. The nose is chocolate, cocoa powder, maple syrup, dark chocolate, roasted malts, faint bourbon and hints of vanilla; it’s pretty basic, but smells really nice. Tastes sweet to start, with that maple hitting right away and then some bourbon ABV burn mixed with dark chocolate, brown sugar, cinnamon, molasses, vanilla, candied sugar, chicory, herbal notes and more chocolate. It’s almost too sweet, but the sweetness helps cover up the boozy aspects.
