Pours a pale straw of yellow color with good clarity and minimal head and lacing.
Nose of malt and grains.
Very crisp, clean, and light with subtle notes of grain, malt, and wheat grass. Very light bodied with no real off notes.
A decent light lunch beer to give Peroni a run for its money.

Can't recall ever having an Italian style pilsner, but it was heavier and maltier than it's German counterparts. It was easy to drink with a malt base that had graham cracker and wheat bread flavors mixed with floral hops that had a slight zing of lemon zest. Nice to see Sand City step outside of their normal lineup.
