Pours copper color with a 2 finger thick off white head that faded slowly and left really nice lacing coating the sides. Smells sweet and malty up front with musty wheat bread, some caramel, piney notes, tea leaf, orange peel, lime and wet cardboard. Tastes very malty with hibiscus, fresh cut flowers, grapefruit, lemon zest, wheat bread, yeast, coriander, honey, yuzu and potpourri. I can’t put my finger on it, but one of the hops used in this brew was kind of odd tasting and made it seem like a west coast IPA.
