Pours opaque gold/brown color with a 2 finger thick foamy head that dissipated very, very slowly and left really nice lacing. Smells of tangerine, orange juice, papaya, caramel, gummy bears, sweet malt and candied sugar. Tastes of tart orange juice, tangerine, lemon, red grapefruit, caramel, graham cracker, tea leaf, dry floral hops, honey, Razzles candy, citrus fruits and a sugary sweetness. It’s a lot sweeter and less bitter than most SC DIPA’s, but it goes down smooth with zero sign of the 8.5% ABV.
