I suppose you call taking home a growler on tap.
Very nice looking beer. Pours black with brown and reddish hues. Clear. Nice steady one inch head that leaves lacing.
Aroma is roasted malt. Straight forward and pleasing. Moves towards coffee (mostly) and chocolate (a little). No sense of esters.
Taste is similar to aroma. Roast without dryness until the finish in which a bitterness presents and then the malt dryness lingers for a very long time. Well balanced on sweetness vs dryness.
Smooth feel, with medium thickness and pleasant carbonation. Satisfying feel.
Very nice beer. Love to see it as a regular there.
