Hamburg Dopplebock

Appearance: Lightly hazed medium to dark brown color. Head is moderate at first, fading into a thin ring around the glass.

Smell: Brown sugar sweetness, pure malty goodness.

Taste: Sweet and rich, moderate hop edge. A very smooth drinker, with hints of grass and a unique fruitness.

Mouthfeel: Slick and smooth, this is a sipper in some regards, but I will get into troulbe while I work on my second growler of Hanska Baltic Porter later tonight, combined with this good beer.

Drinkability: It's a good, easy drinking beer, but not among my favorites from Bandana. I hope the brewer keeps experimentingand educating, and hopefully Mankato will be a craft beer-enlightened city, eventually.
