One of the people I went with asked the waitress what the gold was, and she said "It's a lite beer, kind of like Miller Lite". I don't know if I would agree with that summation, but this beer isn't all that great. Pale gold color, with a tiny white head. Smells lightly of corn and malt, not much of a hops presence. Not a great beer, tastes too much of adjunct. There are better beers at BB, order the Pale Ale.

Style was tough to determine for this beer. This category seemed to meet the most requirements, but I'm open to alternatives and suggestions to the contrary. This is definitely the attempt to appeal the the macro beer drinkers that made up the patrons of this former lodge. I hope it's successful so I can drink the other concoctions from the brewmaster.
Aroma is almost pungent (like a Point Special), with a dull malt quality. Very pale gold to dull yellow with an almost water look. Slightly cloudy. Very light overall flavor. Front has a light fruitiness. Very mild dryness and short finish. Very nice mouthfeel, being soft and fluffy without excessive carbonation.
This beer reminds me of Michelob Golden Draft, in that the mouthfeel is the dominant and the most pleasant feature, except the light flavor that this beer carries is much better than the macro (esp. that it doesn't emphasize excessive bitterness).
