330ml can from Home Bargains (£0.99):
Slightly hazy & very light straw with a 1cm, bubbly white head. The nose is a touch skunky with light corn sweetness, pale malts & grassy notes but its basic. The taste is terrible, nothing like a usual Vocation beer - pale malts, lots of corn & cheap adjuncts, not as much sweetness as the nose but generally nasty & very much a cheap macro-lager type taste. The body is light & sharp with a subtle bitterness, a dry finish & absolutely no lingering aftertaste.

Can from Home Bargains (we'll see...). Straw coloured, pretty big head, smells of apple, yeast and chalk. Taste is like a fairly standard pilsner with a little lime added. Hops more citric than anticipated, less metallic.

A 330ml can with a BB of May 2018. Purchased a while back from Tesco. The label describes it as a classic pilsner brewed with pilsner malt and European hops.
A: Poured into a tulip. Can-conditioned. A bright, hazy golden colour with plentiful suspended sediment and good carbonation. Forms a decent head of frothy white foam that dissipates almost immediately.
S: Aroma of pale malt with hints of grain, earthy yeast, faint leafiness and a fruity solvent twang in the background. Reminiscent of sour green apples. Not up to scratch.
T: Tastes of grainy pale malt with notes of earthy yeast, a hint of barley sugar and faint stewed leaves. A solvent-like whisper lurks in the background. Pretty dry, followed by a crisp, understated bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and decent body. Lightly astringent. Aftertaste of earthy yeast, pale malt, faint leafiness and a green apple twang.
O: Hmmm - there's something not quite right with this one. Poor appearance; that head retention needs work. The aroma is definitely off and the flavour isn't amazing either. The weird fruitiness almost suggests a mild infection or some other flaw of that type. Body is OK. Can't recommend this one to be honest, but perhaps it's just a dodgy can. Might re-review if I have the chance.
