This is our super-crisp, teasingly twisted taste of summer. Gently kettle-soured to complement and enhance the citrus notes of Valencia and blood oranges. It’s summer in a can.

Copenhagen 28/12 2019. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Peeled rinds from a Valencia, blood orange (I suppose) on the can.
Pours unclear yellow with a medium-sized, lightly bubbly, white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is intense, juicy and fruity. Oranges, lemonade and fruit juice. Slight and light whiff of fermented decay. Reminds me of a screwdriver.
Medium carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed and balanced by a medium strong sourness. Aftertaste is sour-sweet and juicy. Lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish.
Very fresh and well-balanced juice blast. I hardly noticed I was drinking beer.

This is not a lambic at any time. This a fruit sour but not a spontaneous nor mixed fermentation.
Refreshing and nice strawberry and pineapple notes.
