Copenhagen 8/11 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. What looks like poster art from the seventies in yellow, orange, green and red.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a big, white head. Fluffy and stable. Settles as uneven, lumpy layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a strong sweet, candy-like odor with tart notes. Vanilla milkshake, peach, white sugar and papaya. Tart notes of citrus and lime.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Nicely balanced between sweet milkshake and tart IPA. With the milkshake winning out in the end.

Poured on tap. Hazy gold colour, aromas of wet juicy tropical hops; passion fruit, mango and pineapple. Full-bodied and creamy overall. Hops all the way through; solid malt body, passionfruit, semisoapy, oily grapefruit happiness, and the two dominate the profile. Sweet and chalk full of lactose but the hopped up profile gives it a semibitter, oily mouthcoat on the finish. No distinct after tastes. Fun one if you're into big dry hop flavours or milkshake-style IPAs. For the milkshake style, it's not overly creamy or fruity.

440ml Can from Tesco supermarket (£3):
A pale & fairly hazy golden colour with a two centimetre, bubbly white head that settles at roughly half a centimetres tall, perhaps a bit thinner in the middle. It came through with a subtle bitterness & some background tropical notes on the nose, there's some light peach & mango with a hint of passionfruit but less than expected in truth. I also got some orange & citrus notes with some pale malts in there too. The taste is similar, perhaps more subdued but the passionfruit was more pronounced at least & there was a slightly off-bitterness from the pine hops followed by some lactose. The beer is somewhere around medium bodied with moderate carbonation but it just seemed a touch off at times & the balance could have been better, it wasn't bad but I doubt it's one I'd go for again.
