Copenhagen 23/3 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. A waffle soaked in dark jam on the can.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small beige head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam struggling to over the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is intense with a pastry-like, sweet odor with light tart notes. Milk chocolate, vanilla, condensed milk, lactose, sweet dark berries. Tart sourish notes of milk gone slightly bad.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth,, slightly sticky, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderate sourness. Aftertaste is sweet with a tart undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry with sugary touch.
Decent pastry beer with a redeeming tart streak.

440 ml can, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.9%. Black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of waffles (yes, really!), blueberries, blackberries, roast malts, chocolate, oatmeal, mild coffee. Unusual flavour, said berries and waffles dominate, the roasty notes are subdued. Weird, but good, for sure.

L: Very dark, almost to the point of being pitch black. Perhaps a little colour towards the top.
S: Cakey syrup, dark fruits, roasted malts, coffee, hints of chocolate and apple
T: Waffles, blackcurrant cordial type flavour, finish of coffee, chocolate and malty bitterness
F: Medium-to-well bodied, would perhaps get too sickly after more than one or two but quite a nice feel
O: 4.25

L- Daark, very dark. Pours with a 1Cm dense fine-bubble deep tan head.
S- Mega chocolate.
T- Heavy chocloate, too much to be honest. That comes with a 'lactose stout' rich/sweet/milky edge.
F- Somewhat pungent, but also very 'milk-shake' in profile too.
O- Nothing too deep or serious to consider here. It seems like something of a blunt and unsophisticated statement,
Ingredients include: Blueberry, blackberry and lactose. QED

Very dark in appearance with good head. Fruity aroma with a hint of vanilla cream. Sumptuous fruity taste only a hint of waffle but very enjoyable.

Canned in a big old crafty craft can
Pours a jet black body with massive big thick tan head
Aroma is full on blueberry and treacle
It’s got more fruit but IMHO opinion less waffle
