Copenhagen 8/10 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Silver can with a hand nipping a hop flower with two fingers.
Pours hazy, golden orange with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity scent of pineapple and passion fruit. Light odor of grape fruit, lemon and fresh pine forest. Citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone chiming in. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Pleasant and gentle take on a NEIPA. Like an exotic screwdriver which could use an additional jolt of vodka.
