L- They say 'Still rivers, run deep'; I say, beers that pour this silently, even from 10-15Cm high tend to be pretty full on on the ABV and Feel. Inky black, brief 1mm deep-tan head - brief as typical for the ABV%.
S- Chocolate/cocoa, quite sweet and a hint of a liquor-ish note.
T- Feels almost viscous (slightly syrupy) sipping from the glass. A somewhat bright/acidic fruit note layered onto cocoa beneath. Ok unless blind-tasting it you know it's a cherry led stout and that's what it tastes like; though I think the cherry juuust about comes out more the prominent of the two. From the cherry there is a sour note, but perfume/'aroma' too.
F- Rich, quite intense (cherry), quite deep. I wouldn't plan of tasting anything too delicate after this pretty full-on experience.
O- It reminds me of how 'sweet and sour' dishes work, though here it's perhaps more 'rich and sour'. It's very interesting to try but I think you'd need to be a cherry-freak to want to buy it a second time; it is totally cherry-centric, cherry liqueur oozes from every sip.
