Copenhagen 10/2 2021- 44 cl can from Best of Beers Web-shop. Dark can with some rugged grey, woody forms. Might be a pecan nut suffering from a depression. Might be something complete different.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small dark beige head. Fairly stable. Settles thin, flimsy patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is intense with a sugary sweet odor mingling with some dark fermented fruit. Cake-like, pastry sweetness. Chocolate cake, brown sugar, syrup, lactose. Plums and raisins. Light sourness - reminds me of sour milk. Whiff of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Thick, soft, creamy, smooth, fat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sugary sweetness followed by a modest sour bitterness. Aftertaste is very sweet with touch of dark alcohol. Lingering. Boozy sweet finish.
A very sweet dessert served as a fluid. On the verge of being cloying but a boozy edge saves the day.
