Copenhagen 21/2 2021. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Lighthouse in a desert with palm trees and gas balloons hovering.

Pours opaque dark brown with a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer and crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is intense with a sweet coconut odor mingling with citric notes. Dark roasted malts, hints of brown sugar and a stronger streak of coconut. A bit of citrus and grapefruit.

Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft yet gently tingling texture.

Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter undertone. Lingering. Finish is semi-dry with a boozy burn.

Powerful Black IPA. A bit on the sweet side with a solid coconut flavoring - but satisfying.
