Copenhagen 8/7 2021. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. What looks like a depiction of a jungle from a children’s book on the can. Colorful and simple.

Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. No lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity scent of tropical fruit mingling with citric fumes. Mango and peach. Grapefruit and citrus. Hints of mustard.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor Is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.

Fine fruity, tropical cocktail who doesn’t forget a bit of bitterness.

440ml can from Tesco (£2):
Hazy golden with a 1cm, bubbly white head that holds well, there's touches of lacing on the sides too. Mango then pine & citrus hops on the nose, there's some tropical notes too; fairly standard for the nose but pleasant nonetheless. There's more citrus with the taste, plenty of pine too & subtle grapefruit as well. Some mango comes through with a few pale malts & zest with a slightly dry, semi-bitter finish.

Can. Murky straw with a dense and frothy head.
A mixed aroma of floral, tropical fruit and straw like hops.
Tastes similar. Juicy. Light dry finish.
Soft to zingy carbonation. Medium body.
Good but straightforward DDHPA .
