440ml can from Tesco (£5):
Jet black with a foamy, tan brown head just under 1cm tall with the odd bubble on the surface but great given the abv. Quite sweet smelling with a lot of banana on top of the chocolate malts but it's slightly artificial without being too pronounced an aroma overall; it's definitely odd for the style. The taste is quite rich & very sweet, there's more of the artificial banana from the nose. It's not the most complex but it's a thick, creamy & smooth mouthfeel, just a shame about the taste & smell really; really disappointing stuff.

Can. Almost black with an extra thick dense tan head. Wispy lacing.
Cocoa sprinkled expresso emanates from the surface. Liquorice and dark fruit but no banana.
The banana comes through strongly upon tasting. Exceptionally sweet.
Fantastic ultra smooth and velvety feel. Full in body.
Very drinkable despite the sweetness and booze.

Canned in a big old tallboy crafty craft can and purchased from the local Tesco supermarket
Pours a jet black body with thick massive thick tan head that dissipates
Aroma is coffee chocolate and the electric banana
Flavour is treacle and tar and molasses
