Reach dizzying heights at the peak of Aoraki with this fruity mix of fresh and juicy NZ hops. Three hop varieties added at various stages throughout the brew make this a DIPA to be reckoned with.

Hops: Motueka, Rakau, Wai-iti.

2/3 pour at Vocation Sheffield. Hazy golden pour with a stiff, creamy white head. Fruity aroma, notes of white chocolate and berries. Taste is fruity and sweet, little bits of stone fruit and tropical. ABV crops up in small doses at the finish. A little warmth lingers.

Copenhagen 18/6 2023. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Steel can with a pink mountain and pine trees. Purple sun rising in the background.

Pours opaque hazy golden yellow with a dirty streak. Mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin remnants of foam floating about. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.

Aroma is medium intense with sweet fruity odor mingling with a sharp citric scent. Sweet peach and mango. Ripe. Grapefruit and lemon. Touch of resin.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.

Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sour streak. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.

Well balanced and pretty light DIPA.

440ml can.
L: Orange juice with a thick cream head that leaves arcs of lacing.
S: Overripe tropical fruit. But delicate. Maybe a bit too delicate.
T: Follows the nose but with more oomph. Has a dank, herbal backdrop. No bitterness but has a hint of alcohol heat.
F: Full bodied, super smooth and just a touch of dryness in the finish. Light carbonation.
O: A rich and slightly boozy double NEIPA. Not overblown. Good stuff.

Served in a pint glass from the can here at cervecería Esparte here in Conil, Spain.

Appearance: Hazy gold colored body with a thick white head which had an initial rise of maybe two finger's length off the body.

Smell: Light floral aroma which dissipates quickly after first sniff.

Taste: Oatmeal and hops galore with lighter malt feel. I say this with love.

Mouth: Soft carbonation and sticky body. After taste can clean you're palate quickly with quick thirst quenching properties.

Overall: Awesome grab, reminds me of some American gems I have had with a slight twist. Salud!

440ml can from Tesco supermarket (£3.75):
Thick & golden with a half cm, bubbly white head that's thick around the circumference & a little thinner towards the middle. The nose is mainly stone fruits, pine & overripe tropical fruits with strong alcohol notes too. It's a very similar taste, there's perhaps a touch more alcohol but grapefruit & the stone fruits dominate alongside citrus, some mango & peach with dry pine bitterness at the end. It's strong, slightly boozy & warming with a very tropical, fruity body that's sharp & moderately carbonated but goes down well despite the abv.

440 ml can, as Vocation Special Edition Aoraki DIPA, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.0%. Opaque "dirty yellow" to brownish-orange colour, moderate white head. A bit "unclean" aroma of various over-ripe tropical fruits. The flavour has some citrus in addition to said "unclean" notes of over-ripe tropical fruits, but lacks freshness and bitterness.
