440mL can from local supermarket. BBE 03/2026.
Look: Bright red, with minimal head.
Scent: Wild-ferment funk, yoghurt, sour cherries, sourdough.
Taste: Lemon juice, sour cherries, vinegar, hard apple cider, light wheaty body. Not much sweetness.
Feel: Mouth-wateringly sour. Light with soft carbonation.
Finish: Fruity, with an occasional bitter tinge.
Overall: A pleasant fruited sour beer, with the fruit dominating the brew. Slightly reminiscent of Kopparberg fruit cider, but with almost all of the syrupy sweetness removed.

Deep cherry red with a pink, half cm head that's bubbly with a foamy surface. Cherries & sweet tart notes with a creamy backing with the taste pretty much identical; maybe a touch more tart at the end & it's well-carbonated with a sharp finish. Slightly basic but not bad, maybe a bit too fizzy.

Nice pink head. Strong whiff of ice cream soda. Tastes of it too. The cherry flavour is fairly mild with a clean finish. Not a complex beer.
I have a soft spot for Vocation and while this was plenty drinkable, it's certainly not one of their better offerings.
