Robust & traditional 8 malt imperial stout, rich in a roasted & bittersweet character and rested on oranges for 10 months in fresh bourbon casks, allowing the base stout to temper and transform.
The addition of orange to the barrels allows for an effortless & sophisticated fusion between an underlying base of cacao and sweet espresso, intense fresh & zesty citrus, and the subtle char & vanilla from the oak & bourbon.

Pours pitch black with a few dark brown bubbles, but they fade immediately leaving no bubbles whatsoever. One of the flattest beers I've ever seen. Smell is lovely Cointreau with a hint of chocolate and vanilla. Taste is Cointreau hot chocolate and a slight booziness. Feel is rich but lightened by the zesty orange. Very nice beer, one of the best from vocation.
