A festive release, 27 months in the making; a fan-favourite, amplified to new heights and rested in a selection of our more unique barrels. Unmistakable characteristics of intense dark chocolate and sweet cream make for an undeniably indulgent baseline for the barrels to shine.
The Pedro Ximénez casks add a whole new level of complexity to our infamous stout, with notes of figs and sweet liquorice, while the bourbon casks round out the experience with gentle smokiness and intense vanilla.

G(yle) 1457BB Nov 2026 lots of rust on the inside rim of the cap.
Pours a fizzy black, leaves a largeish ring of foam.
Smell is very complex. Milk chocolate, vanilla, smoke, fig and cherry.
Taste is similar with a clearness to it that's impressive. It's doesn't feel muddled.
Feel is maybe a tad too fizzy, but at 10.6% this is expected. Wonderful beer, would love to try again to delve more into its complexities
