Aged for 25 months in Islay Single Malt Whisky barrels, this malty beer features delicate honey aromas and ginger back notes, with a slight peaty, smokiness from the additional time in the barrels.

Pours deep dark red brown, light tan head. Very fizzy. Smell is astonishingly strong peated with whiskey. Taste is the same with an after note of ginger. This is like a low abv peated whiskey. Almost pure barrel character and very little base beer left. Probably would have like it more if it were rum or bourbon.
