A culmination of 5 bespoke malts and an extended boil, and originally brewed in Autumn 2021, our traditional porter has spent the last 25 months in the depths of our barrel store in a variety of barrels.
Initial aromas of cherry and smoke lead into deep and full bodied porter, with notes of toffee, vanilla and plums in abundance. The Pinot barrels providing a fruit-rich base upon which the single malt barrels can blend effortlessly with the saline character of the whisky.

Deep murky brown. Few fizzy bubbles, but little in the way of carbonation. Smell is potent. Massive prune flavour somehow, took me some time out the name to it, but that's what I'm smelling and tasting mostly. Getting some roast character, and vanilla. Excellent stuff. Feel is better than expected. As flat as it looks, carbonation tickles the front of my lips. Some real gems in these barrel aged vocation beers.
