Copenhagen 26/12 201. 44 l can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. An old Space Invader arcade game set up on the can with a space ship shooting hop flowers to smithereens
Pours unclear - almost hazy - golden yellow with a midsized white head. Settles as a thin but consistent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense and dominated by sweet odors of tropical fruits and stone fruit. A more subdued citric scent in the background. Peach, apricot and pineapple. Hints of mango. A bit of lemon and grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Sweet but pleasant NEIPA. And the Arcade game certainly looks alluring.
