We've teamed up with our good friend James Campbell at Sureshot, and new kids on the block, Amity Brew Co. to deliver a modern take on a classic Extra Special Bitter.
Big caramel malt notes are balanced with a punchy citrus bitterness, featuring Citrus, Simcoe and the classic East Kent Goldings hops for good measure.

Copenhagen 1/4 2021. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Dark blue can plastered over with logos from three breweries and some soft, geometry forms in red and light blue.
Pours almost clear amber with a mid-sized white head. Settles as thin, patchy layer of foam unable to over the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with citric, hoppy notes. A bit dry. Caramel and toffee. Lemon and citrus notes. A bit acerbic.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a citric twang. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Nice ESB with a touch of New World hops.
