Copenhagen 22/3 2021. 44 cl can from Best of Beers web-shop. Fuzzy close-up of a hop flower on the can.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Fairly stable. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the side of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is is intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruit mingling with humid pine tress and citrus fruit. Peach and papaya. Lime and grapefruit.
Light carbonation. Medium thin, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is fairly dry.
Juicy and pleasant trip into the pine forest. Good one.
