We’ve been making beer from our hilltop in Hebden Bridge since we started, so it seemed only right to honour the town we call home. Our Hebden Lager is clean, crisp and refreshing – just like the Yorkshire air we brew in.

Copenhagen 28/11 2020. 44 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. White generic can with the name in big red letters and the tag line Born in the North which is quite strange when they reside not so far from Leeds.
Pours slightly unclear pale yellow with a mid-sized white head. Fairly stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with light citric sour notes. Sweet pale malts, bread, cardboard. Citrus and grass.
Strong carbonation. Thin, eatery, lively, tingling texture.
Flavor is moderately intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by lighter bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers shortly. Finish s semi-dry.
A quite generic take on a pale lager. Malty, crisp and rather boring.
