Copenhagen 7/12 2025. 33 cl bottle from ØlTanken webshop. Black label with the name snd logo of the brewery in gold and the name of the beer in white letters.
Pours opaque hazy, dark brown with a small beige head. A little bubbly. Settles as a thin patch of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and malty odor bordering on being sugary. Mingling with prominent scent of dark alcohol. Brown sugar, espresso coffee and toffee. Raisins and plums. Bourbon in abundance.
Light carbonation. Rather thick, oily, viscous, soft, creamy and gently tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong boozy sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a little sear from the alcohol. Lingering. Finish is sweet and boozy.
Potent and sweet take on a barrel-aged boozer.
