A rich, robust imperial stout crafted from a blend of eight malts, then aged in fresh bourbon casks on a combination of raspberries and blackcurrants.
Bursting with intense, jammy fruit flavours from start to finish, balanced by a subtle warmth from the barrels and gentles aromas of vanilla and smoke.

Copenhagen 25/12 2025. 33 cl bottle from DrikBeer web-shop. Black label with the brewery's logo in dark copper. The name and style of the beer in white letters together with an assurance of a 21 month barrel aging.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin line of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is intense with a light odor of sweet berries soon overpowered by a sharp and tart scent. A sweet boozy smell luring just underneath. Sweet currants and raspberries. Whiff of glue and sour milk. Tart and sour notes. Gooseberries and citrus. Touch of vinegar. Sweet bourbon and alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, a bit greasy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong tart, sourness. Aftertaste is sour with a sweet, boozy undertone. Lingering. Finish is sour with a solid touch of alcohol.
More tart berries than dark malts.
