Pours a cloudy, deep amber, coppery coloration with a medium, creamy head. Smells of some subtle biscuity malt, citrus aromas and just a hint of rosemary coming through as well. Taste is an excellent balance of doughy, biscuity malt, quite zesty, vibrant citrus hops with notes of lime peel and lemongrass and a subtle yet noticeable rosemary presence that is both herbal and lightly floral. Finishes with a light bitterness and some lemongrass and rosemary lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I do have a thing for rosemary beers and this is probably the best one I've had so far, just having a great balance to it that subtely accentuates the rosemary presence without it becoming overpowering at all, while at the same time having a quite vivid citrus character to it that creates an interesting harmony of zesty citrus and herbal, floral rosemary notes that works out quite well, rounded out by some light, sweet'ish malts.
