Taster at brewery. Medium amber, small creamy head, streaky lacing. Hetbal, rassy aroma, medicinal notes. Taste is caramel and some earthy, grassy hops. Dry finish.

Drinking this at the brewery during their 1st anniversary party.
Served in a 10oz cup, it was an orangey amber color, with a beige colored head that left streaky, spotty lace.
The nose is fairly restrained, and makes me want to call it "softly citrusy," if that makes any sense. At 76 IBUs, it isn't smelling like a hop monster. There's certainly no sign of the high alcohol content.
This tastes like a lot of tropical fruity IPAs, but is a restrained, easy drinking version of that style of IPA. Like in the nose, there's no warning that the alcohol content is pushing 10%!
Medium bodied, with a lightly oily, resinous mouth feel.
This is ridiculously drinkable. I don't hold it against them for serving it in 10oz servings. It is NOT a big,enamel-eating hop bomb, but Black Label professes to prefer to make beers focusing on drinkability. Mission accomplished.
