12oz pint consumed at the brewery for $3 (anniversary party price).
Semi-clear amber color that was verging on dark, with a good-sized beige colored head. Lots of lace.
Piney and citrusy in the nose. It's not a hugely aromatic nose, but it hits the marks for a standard PNW IPA.
The taste leads with a piney hop flavor, with a grapefruity flavor a close second that also more or less blankets the palate and serves as the aftertaste. Things end on a subtly dry note.
Medium bodied, with a moderate oily, resiny mouthfeel.
A thoroughly drinkable version of the PNW IPA, one that I could have several of per session.
