16oz pour consumed in the Saranac Commons building in the seating in Black Label's corner while gnawing on a tasty Italian Sandwich from Peace Pie. Apparently, it's a Czech pils brewed with rice, hence the name (which is also a nod to the adjacent comic book and game store, Merlyn's).
Clear golden color, with a somewat shirt lived white head. No lace.
Traditional Noble hop aroma. If pilsner malt was used in addition to the rice, my schnoz (by no means an infallible organ) is not detecting it.
Nice pils hoppiness up front in the flavor department. Light, grainy malt character present. Finishes clean and lightly dry.
Light bodied, crisp and clean mouth feel.
Nice pils. Very drinkable stuff. I'd definitely hit this again.
