Poured from an undated 16 ounce can filled at the brewery a few days ago into a tulip glass at 44.6 degrees F.
Appearance- Deep gold, very hazy, off white sudsy head, average head retention, below average lacing.
Aroma- Nectarine, clementine, bready, between weak and medium strength of scent.
Flavor- Bready, slight pith, very slight clementine, very weak strength of flavor.
Mouthfeel- Medium body, below average carbonation, low bitterness, mildly sweet, silky, mildly mouth warming, very mild creaminess, moderately dry finish, mild astringency.
Overall- Deep gold and very hazy with average head retention and below average lacing. The bouquet had notes of nectarine, clementine and bready malt with an intensity on the weaker side. Almost the only flavor detectable was malt with the slightest hints of pith and clementine, but definitely none of the nectarine from the nose. The mouthfeel consisted of a medium body with a lack of carbonation and a finish that was too dry. Overall, this beer had a nice appearance but failed to deliver in any other category, especially disappointing was the lack of hop character in the flavor.
