On cask at the brewery, served in a dirty glass
Aroma – smells sour, quickly fades away
Head small – chopped by bartender - < two cm, off white, frothy
Lacing – none until the level dropped below the dirt, then excellent lacing of wide rings with tiny bubbles
Body – light yellow, cloudy
Flavor odd, a hint of vinegar and some rye pepperiness; no hops, no malt, no alcohol, no diacetyl
Palate medium, creamy, soft carbonation
A weak offering from usually solid Stoudt’s.
Appearance 3, Aroma 3, Flavor 2.75, Palate 3.5, Overall 2.75
