Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a standard pint glass. Moderately aggressive hand. Best by 08.05.14 etched on the bottle.
A: Slightly hazy, orange-red body. 1 finger of white head with ok retention. Moderate patchy lacing.
S: Citrus-forward hops, orange, faint pine. Malty sweetness with elements of bread, biscuit. Traces of caramel, toffee. Hints of funk - acetone, cat urine.
T: Assertive bitterness up front and throughout. The malt backbone kicks in about half-way and brings a slight sweetness that never really competes with the bitterness. Semi-dry finish. Piney resin and grapefruit pulp linger in the aftertaste. Low alcohol presence.
M: Moderate carbonation with a moderate body. Slightly oily feel.
O: Good IPA. Fairly bitter, although the beer leans towards the malty side of the spectrum. Drinks well enough, but not a lot of complexity. The off-scents add some uniqueness, but may or may not agree with you.
Prost!

Appearance: copper in color with a 2" head that lasted a long time. Nice lace paints the side of the glass.
Smell: earthy and grassy tones rise from the glass.
Taste: caramel, light fruit sweetness, decent earthy tones, mild orange citrus, and a moderate herbal bitterness.
Mouthfeel: medium bodied beer. Lightly crisp throughout. Short lasting aftertaste and it is mildly refreshing.
Overall: this was a very enjoyable beer that was easy to consume and well balanced.

I have no idea which one this is, and the beer sucked enough that I don't care to research it too much. Frankly, I couldn't really drink much of it and passed it off to someone else and then dumped mine. Almost seems nutty like a sort of brown ale. Malty action going on. Eh. Almost seemed off. I hope this is not what they originally intended with this beer.

Poured into a tall pint glass: color is copper, transparent; head is light tan, big almost 2 inches, lingering well as it dissipates with lacing on the glass.
Smell is lighter, mostly pale malt, touch of biscuit and caramel malt, hops are grassy, floral.
Taste is malty forward, toast, biscuit, light caramel, hops are earthy, grassy, floral and nicely bitter.
Mouthfeel is very good, solid bitterness balances the malt forward ipa, flavors persist on the tongue and linger nicely.
Overall, a very good ipa, pleasant malt forward flavor with solid bitter backbone.

Well I assume this is the Batch one version since it has the most bottle entries.
A - Pours a mildly hazy deep amber copper color with a 1/2 inch of head very sticky lacing and sticks around forever.
S - Smells of mild herbal hops, some bread, and malts.
T - Taste is actually much better very clean sweet mango and pineapple hop bitterness with subline malt balance.
M - Abv is pretty nice light to medium in body. Dangerously drinkable.
Overall I guess this one is a few months old since the smell is kind of faint but the hop punch is still very active and clean tasting. A super IPA.
