First had: on cask at Stoudts

Room temperature. Dark black pour with ruby edges, and a small cap of off-white head that receded to a ringlet, leaving a bit of lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark roasty malts with distinctive banana notes. Not estery like a Belgian ale, more like full-on banana flesh. This was a quite tasty beer, dark malts, chocolate covered banana, sweet, with a touch of earthy hop bitterness. Body was on the fuller side of medium, and the beer was quite enjoyable and drinkable overall. Honestly can't say I've ever tasted another beer quite like this one. Get for dessert or just enjoy on its own.
