L- Dark straw. Slightly cloudy, thin/fine patch of bubbles.
S- Slightly spicy, clean.
T- Bubblegum (unusual), spice, different a bit odd.
F- Quite rounded, CO2 = good.
O- Not so polished, spicy tang lingers (clove?). Doesn't quite hand together.
Bought from Isetan at Orchard/Scotts, Singapore. Weissen 5.0% marked on 330ml bottle. BB 04/2024

Cloudy yellow in the glass.
Rich nose of banana and bubblegum, not altogether appealing.
Confusing sour/bitter palate. A "doughnut beer" - taste hole in the middle of the mouth.
Not a beer I would try again, though admittedly I'm not familiar with Weizens.

A-Pours hazy blonde with a few little floating blobs of yeast and a clingy, off white head. Soapy lacing.
S-Wow, this is funky! Smells like the De Proef Reinaert. Definitely some brettanomyces in here. Lemony tartness similar to a Berliner Weisse.
T/M-I'm now convinced this is a Berliner Weisse, though the label refers to it simply as a "Weizen." Plenty of funky brett up front, accentuated by the slightest hint of lemony tartness. Light bodied with soft, light carbonation.
O-Could use a little more carbonation to bring out the acidity, but otherwise a really pleasant surprise. Happy to have stumbled upon this.
