Our Oktoberfest is brewed with Pilsner, Munich, Vienna, several specialty malts, and German noble hops. This beer offers a distinct malt complexity with toasted, biscuit notes, and a well-balanced bitterness. When poured, the beer is a beautiful amber color with a creamy off-white head.

Poured from a can into pint glass.
Color: Clear amber in color with finger head, light carbonation.
Smell: Sweet malts with a hint of caramel in the aroma.
Taste: Tasted of sweet toasted malts with a bit of caramel mid palate, slight bitterness/tartness in the finish.
Feel: Light, smooth, very drinkable.
The Marzen/Oktoberfest is one of my favorite styles and Seven Arrows does an excellent job adhering to style. Highly recommend.

Appearance: pours a deep and earthy orange to a ruby red color. a finger or two of a tan head with good retention. leaves behind a nice and frothy lacing. a little bit of darkness makes it just shy of clear. some strong brightness to it.
Smell: strong malt base. bready and toasty malts. some moderate to strong sweetness. some slight bitterness but little no hop aroma.
Taste: opens up with German malts. bready and slightly toasted. some moderate sweetness but some clean lager yeast wipes things away. low bitterness and little to no noble hop character.
Mouthfeel: light and strong drinkability. fairly light. very crisp and some slight dryness. some sweetness but no where near cloying. low bitterness. very clean finish. slightly smooth and silky texture.
Overall: a very well crafted lager. Seven Arrows makes their lagers well and this one is crafted perfectly to the style.

Pours nearly clear with a 2 finger off white head. Coppery orange to amber in color. Light carbonation.
Sweet malts dominate the aroma. Toasted nuts/almond extract. Hints of caramel.
Sweet toasted malts in the taste. The nuttiness is more subdued here, but the caramel is more obvious. The hops show up in moderately tart citrus and in the light bitter follow through.
Medium plus in body with moderate stickiness/retention. Borderline frothy carbonation and a hint of warmth. Very nice.
Seven Arrows nails the style! The sweetness of the malts are a bit laid back early on, but they seem to sweeten up as the beer warms., That's a good thing because I do tend to prefer the sweeter brews. I'm not done with the IPA's but this is a great stepping stone to the porters and stouts to come. Perfect for this cool and overly rainy week.
