L: Poured from a can to a pilsner glass. Had a medium brown color and a slightly hazy consistency. There was an inch of foamy, fairly long-lasting head. Not a whole lot of lacing, though.

S: Some of malt, caramel, and a bit of pepper. A little subdued.

T: Tasted of a a fair amount of caramel (could have used more in my opinion), lots of malt, an odd, metallic quality, light peppery notes, and a tinge of hops. This is an odd flavor. It started out well, then seemed to get weaker as it went. Not terrible, but kind of unfocused.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a super dry finish. Medium-bodied.

O: For the most part, this is a drinkable beer. It certainly could have been stronger, but it's decent still.

Pours a reddish brown with a 1 finger light tan head and light lacing.

An aroma of toasty malt was no surprise, but there's a light, almost fruity perfume I wasn't expecting. Probably from the Noble hops.

A taste like toasted wheat bread with a hint of spice and caramel. A light bitterness that doesn't linger. As I neared the bottom of the first glass, the caramel became more pronounced--nice!

The feel is crisp and creamy at the same time. Good retention. Drying.

This is the best of this style I've tried yet. Well balanced. The toasted aspect isn't overdone, so other characteristics are able to show through.
