L: Had this on-tap at Burger Bach, poured into a 10 oz. snifter glass. Had an dark, murky amber color and a cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: A fair aroma of hops, malt, citrus, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a mild amount of malt (mostly in the finish), a bit of citrus fruit (orange, grapefruit), a whole lot of hops (borders on too much), and some tropical fruit (passion fruit). Kind of an uneven flavor here. The hops tend to dominate everything. Needed more tropical fruit to capture the NE IPA style. Not bad, though.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a dry, somewhat bitter finish. Medium-bodied.
O: Not a perfect IPA, but serviceable. Worth a try.
